Description

Descrizione del Brevetto per invenzione Industriale dal titolo: “INDUMENTO A PROTEZIONE DELLA TESTA DEL FEMORE PER ATTIVITA’ SPORTIVE" . Description of the Patent for Industrial Invention entitled: "GARMENT TO PROTECT THE FEMUR'S HEAD FOR SPORTS ACTIVITIES".

DESCRIZIONE DESCRIPTION

In the field of sporting activities, protections are used in order to avoid violent impacts or abrasions to the body. The known protections provide parts in shock-absorbing material in order to absorb and cushion the impact. These protections do not allow, however, to train with a bruised part, because the compression of the material once compressed becomes, a. end of compression, stiff and goes to transmit the impact to the part with the contusion. These protections therefore make it impossible to practice sports while healing is in progress, since subsequent impacts on the bruised area delay and worsen healing. Furthermore, having a painful part and having to do interventions that can lead to other impacts on the bruised area leads to the inhibition of movement. In sports, an uncertainty or a delayed movement, even by a few tenths of a second, caused by such inhibitions can lead to mistakes or to perform the movement at the wrong time. The result is a garment capable of avoiding the pathology known as bursitis of the femoral head. This pathology develops with bumps and violent contacts always on the same area. In particular, this pathology is most developed in the game of football where, in diving, goalkeepers have violent contact with the head of the femur or in sliding interventions or in the falls of the players, where voluntary or involuntary falls involve the side and therefore the head of the player. femur. In addition, the object of the result allows to avoid abrasion from friction with the ground during the fall. The aim of the result is to have a garment to protect the head of the femur able to avoid bursitis and collateral damage to the hip joint. A further aim of the result is to obtain a protection of the femoral head and of the hip joint in such a way as to be able to carry out the sporting activity even with the bruised part as further impacts suffered do not hit the head of the femur and do not lead to to develop bursitis. With the object of the result there is, in fact, a phase of prevention from the shocks suffered and a faster healing is allowed as the head of the femur is not subject to other bruises. The garment to protect the femoral head is used in all sports where there may be repeated and violent contact with the ground, such as rugby, skating, American football, martial arts or skiing, snowboarding, skateboards and the like. The invention is illustrated purely by way of indication and as such is not limited to the drawings of Tables 1 and 2. In Table 1 figure 1 is a front view of the main components of the invention. Figure 2 is a view of the components in a single structure. Figure 3 is a sectional view of the previous figure. Figure 4 is a view of part of the result not stressed by an impact. Figure 5 is a partial view of the result stressed by an impact. In Table 2 Figure 6 is a side view of the object of the result applied under shorts of a tunic. Figure 7 is a front view of the same. In a preferred but not exclusive embodiment, the garment protecting the femoral head for sports activities comprises a pair of shaped elements 1 in shock-absorbing material, such as neoprene or the like. Said elements can be made of materials with different shock absorption capacity 1A, 1B and 1C joined with gluing, or in equivalent form, in material with different shock absorption capacity made in a single casting. and in proximity of the positioning to the body, placed in a stable form, there is a hole 2 with a conical cavity, made in the form of application given by the superimposition of several elements from holes of increasing size 2A, 2B and 2C, axially superimposed with the smaller size placed on the outer layer. The shaped element 1 is applied to a shorts 3 made of elastic material adherent to the body, or a shorts commonly known as a cyclist. The application to the tight-fitting shorts 3 is carried out by means of a pocket 4 with top closure 5. In equivalent forms of applications, the element 1 can be applied to the tight-fitting shorts 3 by gluing or by stitching. The adherent shorts 3 is positioned in such a way as to have the hole 2 with a conical cavity in correspondence with the head of the femur 6 and with a hole adhering to the body which is wider than the head of the femur. Subsequently, garment 7, normally worn in sports, is worn over the shorts 3. The resulting object, positioned with the hole 2 in a concentric manner with respect to the femoral head 6, in the event of a fall or impact in this area, discharges the impact on the circular wall adjacent to the head of the femur and, since even at maximum compression it does not completely reduce its thickness, there is no impact or compression on the head of the femur.
