No campo das actividades desportivas são utilizadas protecções de modo a evitar embates violentos ou escoriações corporais. As protecções conhecidas consistem em peças de material de atenuação com o objectivo de absorver e amortecer o embate. É conhecido, por exemplo, o dispositivo descrito no documento WO 98/44 817, mas o mesmo não resolve o problema da distribuição do impacto nas partes longe da cabeça do fémur, para prevenir bursites devido à repetição dos embates. Na actividade desportiva uma hesitação ou um movimento atrasado, também de uns poucos duodécimos, provocado pelas referidas inibições, pode determinar um erro ou fazer um movimento no momento errado. 0 presente invento refere-se a um vestuário de protecção novo adequado para evitar a patologia conhecida como bursites da cabeça do fémur. A referida patologia desenvolve-se com embates e contactos violentos sempre em cima da mesma parte do corpo. Em particular, esta patologia é desenvolvida em geral no jogo de futebol onde os guarda-redes nos mergulhos ou nas acções de deslize têm um contacto violento com a cabeça do fémur ou nas quedas dos jogadores, onde as quedas voluntárias ou não, envolvem o flanco e assim a cabeça do fémur.
