Claims

1. Overshoe (9) for sports footwear, comprising:

- a plurality of bands or ribbons, connected together to form a network (10) suitable for externally enclosing at least part of a shoe (S), said network (10) comprising at least one mesh delimited along at least three sides by said bands or ribbons; and

- one or more lining inserts (12), each comprising a piece or plate (13) suitable for covering a portion of the shoe (S), said one or more lining inserts (12) being removable and insertable into respective meshes of the mesh (10), in such a way as to be retained by the mesh (10) in a condition of coupling with the shoe (S).

2. Overshoe according to claim 1, wherein the patch or plate (13) has an external contour complementary to the internal contour of a respective mesh of the lattice (10).

3. Overshoe according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the lining inserts (12) comprise a substrate (14) formed by a sheet of elastic material on which a patch or plate (13) is placed in relief, the substrate (14) protruding with respect to the external contour of the patch or plate (13) in such a way that, when the overshoe (9) is applied to the footwear (S), the substrate (14) is placed between the footwear (S) and the mesh (10) so that the latter keeps said substrate (14) adhered to the footwear (S), leaving the patch or plate (13) visible.

Overshoe according to claim 3, wherein the lining inserts (12) each comprise a plurality of pins (16) protruding from the substrate (14) and suitable for insertion into corresponding seats (17) obtained in the thickness of the grid (10), in such a way as to removably fix the patch or plate (12) to said grid (10).

5. An overshoe according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the mesh (10) comprises secondary bands or straps (11) configured to pass underneath the sole of the footwear (S) in such a way as to retain the mesh (10) attached to the footwear (S).

Overshoe according to claim 5, wherein the mesh (10) comprises eyelets through which the secondary bands or tapes (11) pass, said secondary bands or tapes (11) being configured to fold over the eyelets in such a way as to apply traction to the mesh (10) to tighten it on the shoe (S), and comprising fastening means suitable for maintaining them in a predetermined configuration.

Overshoe according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the lattice (10) and the one or more patches or plates (13) are configured in such a way that, in a condition of coupling of the overshoe (9) to the footwear (S), the external face of said lattice (10) is flush with the external face of said one or more patches or plates (13).

Overshoe according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the mesh (10) comprises transparent films covering respective meshes of the mesh (10), said films being suitable to delimit an at least partially closed space between the footwear (S), the transparent film and the strips forming the edges of the mesh, in such a way as to retain the respective piece or plate (13) inside the mesh.

Overshoe according to any of the preceding claims, comprising a plurality of tracks, provided on the external surface of the footwear (S) in correspondence with the straps forming the grid (10), said tracks presenting coupling means, suitable for securing the grid (10) to the footwear (S) when said grid (10) is superimposed on said tracks.

11. Overshoe according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the mesh (10) and the lining inserts (12) are configured to cover at least part of the upper of the footwear (S).

12. Overshoe according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the mesh (10) and the lining inserts (12) are configured to avoid covering the toe cap of the footwear (S).

13. Overshoe according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the patches or plates (13) of the lining inserts (12) have grooves (18) suitable for draining water from the overshoe (9).

14. Overshoe according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the mesh (10) and/or the patches or plates (13) and/or the substrate (14) are made of a water-impermeable material.

15. Overshoe according to any of the preceding claims, suitable for being applied to a sports shoe of the football shoe type.

16. Overshoe according to claim 15, wherein the patches or plates (13) of the lining inserts (12) are suitable for giving the shoe (S) a predetermined characteristic of interaction with a ball for playing football.

17. A shoe for playing football, comprising an overshoe (9) according to any of the preceding claims.
