DESCRIPTION

Technical field

The present invention ? generally applicable in the technical field of plant engineering for finishing leather, and has particularly for object a unit with reduced dimensions for the rotational support of a rotary carousel for painting leather.

State of the art

Varnishing booths for hides are known which include a work chamber with an inlet and an outlet, means for advancing the hides from the inlet to the outlet and a rotary carousel which includes a support plate for a plurality of hides. of arms equipped with one or more? spray guns.

Do you know the rotary carousel in the painting booths? supported in rotation by a suitable rotary joint RJ, as illustrated in FIGS.1A and 1B.

This rotary joint RJ has an external fixed frame FP and an internal movable part RP, which ? operatively connected to motor means M by means of a belt or chain B. The mobile part RP ? otherwise? connected below to the support plate SP of the rotary carousel to make it rotate.

The spray guns are fed by a rotating distributor shaft DS which includes one or more inputs INP1 and one or more? OUTP1 outputs for one or more? paints and one or more? inputs INA and one or more? OUTA outputs for compressed air. This tree can be connected to the carousel below the support plate SP, as illustrated in FIG. 1B, or above the same support plate SP, as illustrated in FIG.1A.

In this case, the moving part RP of the rotary joint RJ ? connected to the rotating distributor shaft DS.

Purpose, ? foreseen a connection flange CF equipped with one or more? passage channels for the PC paint, which are in fluid connection with a PL paint adduction line which has an INP2 input and an OUTP2 output. The line PL passes through the mobile part RP of the rotary joint RJ and a distribution block DB integral with the support plate SP.

While performing its tasks admirably, the above configuration has some disadvantages.

The plate support group, in fact, ? decidedly bulky and heavy, which implies a series of difficulties? during the transport, assembly and maintenance of the spray booth.

The cost of the support group, then, ? relatively high, which negatively affects the final cost of the spray booth.

The presence of the timing belt or chain? moreover disadvantageous both for the costs and for the functioning of the assembly.

With particular reference to the embodiment of FIG. 1A, moreover, the length of the path L1 which the paint takes from the input IN1 in the rotating distributor shaft DS to the output OUT2 from the mobile part RP of the rotary joint RJ is, moreover, decidedly large, about 800 mm. Consequently, high ? the probability? blockages, malfunctions and leaks, and it is decidedly difficult to clean these parts during maintenance.

With particular reference to the embodiment of FIG. 1B, moreover, the assembly of the DS shaft inside the cabin makes its maintenance and cleaning difficult, since? it must be assembled and disassembled in a particularly dirty and intrinsically dangerous environment due to the presence of possible paint fumes.

Presentation of the invention

Purpose of the present invention? at least partially overcome the drawbacks illustrated above, providing a highly functional support unit for a rotary painting carousel. and relatively low cost.

Another purpose of the invention? make available a support group for a small size rotary painting carousel.

Another purpose of the invention? provide a support group for a light weight rotary painting carousel.

Another purpose of the invention? provide a support group for a rotary painting carousel that simplifies installation and/or maintenance of the latter.

Another purpose of the invention? provide a support group for a rotary painting carousel that simplifies the cleaning and maintenance of the paint passage ducts.

These goals, what? like others that will appear more? explained below, are achieved by a support unit for a rotary painting carousel in accordance with what is described, illustrated and/or claimed herein.

The dependent claims define advantageous embodiments of the invention.

Detailed description of some preferred embodiments With reference to the accompanying figures, a rotary carousel for the painting of leather 100 is described which can be be placed in a pelli 200 spray booth.

The latter can include, so in s? known, a work chamber 210 with an inlet 220 and an outlet 230 and the rotary carousel 100, mounted on a support structure 400.

Means could also be provided for advancing the hides from the inlet 210 to the outlet 220, not shown in the figure since in itself notice. Preferably, these advancement means can be configured to advance the hides continuously. For example, can a conveyor belt, for example of the belt or band type, may be used.

Conveniently, the rotary carousel 100 will be able to be mounted above the means of advancement, cos? to varnish the hides from above.

The rotary carousel 100 will be able to comprising a support plate 110, generally discoidal in shape, capable of supporting a plurality of of arms 120 equipped with one or more? spray guns 130 and motor means 140 for rotating it around an axis of rotation X.

It is understood that the rotary carousel 100 will be able having any number of arms they may be 12, 18 or 24 in number.

The spray booth 200 will be able to be an integral part of a 500 finishing line, which could? include one or more cabins 200 and one or more? 510 finishing tunnel.

The rotary carousel 100 will be able to be connected to the support structure 400 by means of a support assembly 1, illustrated in particular in FIG.2.

This support group 1 will be able to include a support plate 10 defining a plane ?1, which could? include means for fixing the motor means 140, for example a connecting flange 11, and means for fixing the support plate 110, which may include at least a first annular element 13?? defining a plane ?2 substantially parallel to the plane ?1.

This annular element 13?? can I be rotatably supported by the second support plate 10 to rotate about the X axis, and could? be configured to be operatively coupled with the motor means 140 so as to drive the support plate 110 in rotation.

For this purpose, the driving means 140 could include a driving wheel 141 keyed on the axle and engaged with a driven ring gear 13??? present on the first annular element 13??.

To support in rotation the latter, internally to the same potr? a second annular element 13? should be provided, rigidly fixed to the support plate 10.

The annular elements 13?? and 13?, which can be substantially coplanar and coaxial, can be coupled to each other by means of a plurality? of anti-friction elements interposed between them, preferably of the ball or roller type, not shown in the figures since? in itself notice.

Preferably though not exclusively, the annular elements 13?? and 13? will be able to define a slewing ring.

Due to the above characteristics, support group 1 ? it has reduced dimensions and weight compared to the solutions of the state of the art, evident advantages in the transport, assembly and maintenance phases of the spray booth.

The support assembly 1 has lower costs than that of the state of the art. The particular configuration with the toothed wheel engaged with the motor pinion also avoids the presence of a belt or chain, with obvious advantages in terms of operation and duration of the assembly.

To fix the annular element 13?? and the support plate 110 could? be foreseen a? frame 14, which could? include a first connecting flange 14? to the annular element 13??, a second connection flange 14?? to plate 110 and a plurality? of transverse columns 14??? between these interposed.

could moreover, a rotating distribution shaft 150 is provided, suitable for feeding the guns 130 with paint and air. This tree 150 could? be mounted below the support plate 110, as for example illustrated in FIGS. 3 ? 4B, or above it, as for example illustrated in FIG.5.

In any case, this tree 150, which could? be of type in s? known, could present one or more inputs 151 and one or more? outputs 152 for one or more? paints, and one or more? inputs 153 and one or more? outlets 154 for compressed air. The shaft 150, therefore, has one or more? paint lines 155 and one or more? air lines 156.

The tree 150 could? be fixed to the plate 110 by means of a block 20, which could also act as an air distributor. For the purpose, can include one or more inputs 21 and one or more? exit 22 for air. Upon fastening, the outlets 154 can be placed in fluidic connection with the inlets 21.

In the embodiment in which the tree 150 ? mounted above the plate 110, illustrated for example in FIGS. 3 ? 4B, the support plate 10 can include an opening 12 for the passage of the distributor shaft 150 coaxial with the X axis.

Block 20 could have such a height that one or more? inputs 151 and one or more? outputs 152 of the distributor shaft 150 lie respectively above and below the plane ?1.

There? is particularly advantageous compared to the state of the art, why? how evident is the length L2 of the paint line 155 ? much lower than the L1 of the state of the art, about half.

There? minimize the probability blockages, malfunctions and leaks, and simplifies the cleaning of these parts during maintenance.

The latter then ? extremely easy, since? the tree 150 ? outside the cabin and pu? be assembled and disassembled easily.

As visible in FIG. 10, the guns 130 can be mounted on the arms 120 by means of vertical supports 121 which can include means 160 for adjusting the height of the gun 130 from the hides.

As visible in FIG. 10, the guns 130 can be mounted on arms 120 by means of vertical support arms 121 which can include means 160 for adjusting the height of one or more? 130 guns, 132 from skins.

It is understood that even if two pistols are provided in the following description, the pistols may be of any number without thereby departing from the scope of protection of the appended claims.

Each pistol 130, 132 will be able include a respective gun support element 131, 133 that can be inserted into a respective plurality? of superimposed seats 161, 163, facing each other.

Relevant releasable locking means 162, 164 of the gun support elements 131, 133 could also be provided in one of the seats 161, 163, for example of the bolt and nut type.

These releasable locking means 162, 164 are configured to selectively lock the respective gun support element 131, 133 in one of the seats 161, 163.

This way, the height of the gun that you originally set will hold. throughout the work cycle. AND? it is also possible to independently adjust the height of the guns, so? to obtain an optimal spraying.

From what has been described above, it is clear that the invention achieves the intended aims.

The invention? susceptible to numerous modifications and variations, all of which are covered by the attached claims. All the details can be replaced by other technically equivalent elements, and the materials can be different according to requirements, without departing from the scope of protection of the invention defined by the attached claims.

Claims (10)

An assembly for rotationally supporting a leather-paint rotary carousel (100), the rotary carousel including a first support plate (110) for a plurality of rollers. of arms (120) equipped with one or more? spray guns (130) and being rotated about an axis (X) by motor means (140), the support assembly including a second support plate (10) defining a first plane (?1) which includes: - first means (11) for fixing the motor means; - second means (13?,13??) for fixing the first support plate (110); wherein said second fastening means include at least one first annular element (13??) defining a second plane (?2) substantially parallel to said first plane (?1), said at least one first annular element (13??) being rotatably supported by said second support plate (10) to rotate around an axis (X), said at least one first annular element (13??) being configured to be operatively coupled with said motor means (140) so as to drive in rotation the first support plate (110). 2. Assembly according to claim 1, wherein said second fastening means further include a second annular element (13??) substantially coplanar with and coaxial to said at least one first annular element (13??), the latter being located externally to said second annular element (13?), the latter being rigidly fixed to said second support plate (10) to support said at least one first annular element (13??) in rotation. 3. Unit in accordance with the preceding claim, further comprising a frame (14) for the reciprocal fixing of said at least one first annular element (13??) and of said first support plate (110) which includes a first flange of connection (14?) to said at least one first annular element (13??), a second connection flange (14??) to said first support plate (110) and a plurality of transverse columns (14???) interposed between said first and second connection flanges (14?, 14??). 4. Group according to claim 2 or 3, wherein said first and second annular element (13??, 13?) are coupled to each other by means of a plurality? of anti-friction elements interposed between them, preferably of the ball or roller type. 5. Assembly according to claim 2, 3 or 4, comprising a rotation washer including said first and second annular elements (13??, 13?). 6. Group in agreement with one or more? of the preceding claims, wherein the drive means (140) includes a drive wheel (141), said at least one first annular element (13??) including a driven ring gear configured to engage with the drive wheel (141) of the drive means ( 140). 7. Group in agreement with one or more? of the preceding claims, wherein the spray guns (130) are fed by a rotating distributor shaft (150) which includes at least one inlet (151) and at least one outlet (152) for at least one paint, the assembly further comprising third means (20) for mutual fastening of the distributor shaft (150) to the first bearing plate (110). 8. Unit in accordance with the preceding claim, wherein said second support plate (10) includes at least one opening (12) for passage of the distributor shaft (150) coaxial with said axis (X), said third means ( 20) being configured so that the at least one inlet (151) and the at least one outlet (152) of the distributor shaft (150) lie respectively above and below said first plane (?1). 9. A leather painting booth including: - a work chamber (210) with an inlet (220) and an outlet (230); - means (300) for advancing the hides in said working chamber (200) from said inlet (210) to said outlet (220); - a rotary carousel (100) for painting the leather placed in said work chamber (200) above said feed means (300), said rotary carousel (100) comprising a support plate (110) for a plurality of of arms (120) equipped with one or more? spray guns (130) and motor means (140) for rotating it about an axis (X); - a support structure (400) for said rotary carousel (100); wherein said support structure (400) includes a support assembly in accordance with one or more? of the previous claims. 10. A finishing line including: - at least one finishing tunnel (510); - at least one spray booth (200) in accordance with the preceding claim.
