Per trattare la biancheria in maniera delicata, con risultato meglio influenzabile e con riduzione dei rumori, viene proposto di portare durante il lavaggio, di volta in volta gradualmente, ad un numero di giri finale di lavaggio il motore di azionamento del tamburo di una macchina per il trattamento della biancheria e di frenarlo pure gradualmente fino all'arresto (figura).
