Abstract

La presente invenzione riguarda un nuovo procedimento per la produzione di cumarina e cumarine sostituite a partire da esaidrocumarine sostituite o da diidrocumarine sostituite.Il procedimento comprende una deidrogenazione in presenza di catalizzatori a base di metalli dell'VIII Gruppo della tabella periodica degli elementi e in presenza di almeno un composto organico facilmente riducibile.L'invenzione consente di ottenere rese eccezionalmente elevate, tali da non richiedere il riciclo dell'esaidrocumarina o della diidrocumarina presenti a fine reazione, e di ottenere inoltre un'elevata selettività e una facile purificazione.
