Abstract
Smorzatore di vibrazioni per smorzare la vibrazione di un elemento tubolare, come ad esempio un tubo di strumentazione (170) del tipo presente tipicamente in contenitori e recipienti sotto pressione (20) di reattori nucleari. Il tubo di strumentazione è ricevuto in un altro elemento tubolare, come ad esempio un tubo a manicotto di guida (270). Lo smorzatore di vibrazioni comprende un manicotto anulare (320) che è fissabile alla superficie interna (280) del tubo a manicotto e che è dimensionato per circondare un tubo di strumentazione. Depressioni (370) sono fissate alla parete interna (330) del manicotto per supportare radialmente il tubo di strumentazione. La parete del manicotto ha un elemento elastico flessibile (380) disposto di fronte alle concavità per sollecitare il tubo della strumentazione in attestatura con le concavità. La vibrazione indotta dal flusso nel tubo di strumentazione farà sì che esso si muova annullando il contatto con le concavità ed impegni inoltre l'elemento elastico, che si fletterà di una quantità predeterminata ed eserciterà una forza di reazione sul tubo di strumentazione per il limitare il suo movimento. La forza reattiva esercitata sul tubo di strumentazione sarà sufficiente a farlo ritornare alla sua posizione assiale originale all'interno del tubo. In questo modo, la vibrazione del tubo di strumentazione è smorzata in modo tale che le misurazioni dei valori fisici del nocciolo sono accurate e che il tubo di strumentazione non subirà usura contro la superficie interna del tubo a manicotto di guida.
