Abstract

L'apparecchio comprende una testa portasensori inferiore (40) e una testa portasensori superiore (72), situate ciascuna al centro di una guarnizione anulare (20, 70). Preferibilmente una o entrambe le guarnizioni hanno una forma a gradini per adattamento a vari diametri di cerchioni. Quando l'apparecchiatura è in funzione, con un cerchione (C) chiuso a tenuta fra la guarnizione superiore e inferiore, si delimita un ambiente entro il cerchione in cui sono accolte le teste portasensori e un ambiente racchiuso fra l'esterno del cerchione e una campana a tenuta (66), entro il quale viene immensa aria o genericamente gas di prova. Eventuali perdite attraverso il cerchione attivano i sensori sulle teste.
