Abstract
Un gruppo trequarti, cosiddetto "trocar", comprende un dispositivo "trocar" allungato e una cannula che lo circonda. Il dispositivo "trocar" incorpora un elemento incisivo elettrochirurgico, che viene usato per fare un foro di guida per la cannula, e perciò consente al resto del gruppo "trocar" di ingrandire la puntura. L'elemento incisivo comprende un gruppo a elettrodi bipolari. Un circuito elettronico di comando rileva il passaggio della corrente verso l'elemento incisivo e, quando il dispositivo "trocar" penetra attraverso la parete della cavità del corpo che viene incisa, questo circuito interrompe il collegamento con l'associato generatore elettrochirurgico. Un altro insieme di circuiti di comando impedisce che un chirurgo possa riprendere l'esecuzione dell'intervento elettrochirurgico finché non sia trascorso un periodo di tempo prestabilito. Sono previsti molteplici "trocar" di diversi diametri per il medesimo gruppo.
