Il trovato riguarda un dispositivo di taglio con sega a catena, comprendente un disco circolare dotato di scanalatura periferica di contenimento delle maglie di guida della catena che si associa al disco con un certo gioco, e comprendente inoltre nell'ambito della detta scanalatura mezzi solidali col disco e cedevoli elasticamente, atti ad entrare in contatto con le maglie di guida così da determinare il trascinamento della catena nel normale funzionamento, e conformati nella zona di contatto con le dette maglie di guida in modo tale da consentire il reciproco slittamento quando la catena incontra un ostacolo.
