Abstract
Viene descritto un vetro che porta un rivestimento trasparente e più strati. Il rivestimento comprende, nell'ordine: uno strato (A) di ossido metallico, contenente un materiale con indice di rifrazione superiore e quello del vetro, uno strato (B) di ossido metallico o silice avente indice di rifrazione inferiore a quello dello strato A, ed uno strato C contenente un materiale scelto tra cromo, leghe contenenti cromo, leghe di titanio e alluminio, loro nitruri e nitruro di zirconio o titanio. Gli strati possono essere applicati nell'ordine A, B, C, oppure C, B, A. Il vetro può essere usato con lo scopo di schermare la radiazione solare.(FIG. 1)A glass is described which carries a transparent coating and several layers. The coating comprises, in order: a layer (A) of metal oxide, containing a material with a higher refractive index and that of the glass, a layer (B) of metal oxide or silica having a refractive index lower than that of the layer A , and a layer C containing a material selected from chromium, alloys containing chromium, titanium and aluminum alloys, their nitrides and zirconium or titanium nitride. The layers can be applied in the order A, B, C, or C, B, A. The glass can be used for the purpose of shielding solar radiation. (FIG. 1)
