Abstract

The coating comprises, in order: a layer (A) of metal oxide, containing a material with a higher refractive index and that of the glass, a layer (B) of metal oxide or silica having a refractive index lower than that of the layer A , and a layer C containing a material selected from chromium, alloys containing chromium, titanium and aluminum alloys, their nitrides and zirconium or titanium nitride. The layers can be applied in the order A, B, C, or C, B, A. The glass can be used for the purpose of shielding solar radiation. (FIG. 1)
