Abstract
Viene descritto un processo per la sbianca della nitrocellulosa (NC) in coda al processo di produzione della NC stessa consistente nel trattare una sospensione di NC in acqua con un ossidante scelto nel gruppo degli ossidanti gassosi, in particolare ozono o biossido di cloro; il gas ossidante, in eccesso rispetto alla quantità stechiometrica, viene fatto gorgogliare dal basso in alto nella sospensione, mantenuta in agitazione, attraverso setti in acciaio sinterizzato; il gas non reagito viene estratto dal reattore ed avviato all'abbattimento.
