Abstract

Un pedale di sicurezza per biciclette comprende una molla (18) che incorpora un braccio di ritegno (28) destinato a bloccare sul pedale una placchetta metallica (5) fissata alla suola di una calzatura. La molla (18) comprende una porzione a spirale (19) che mantiene il braccio di ritegno 28 nella posizione di bloccaggio. Inoltre, dalla posizione a spirale (19) si estende un unico braccio radiale (27), disposto lateralmente rispetto al piano longitudinale mediano del pedale, che funge da barra di torsione per consentire l'oscillazione del braccio di ritegno 28 quando la placchetta (5) viene ruotata nel piano generale del pedale per ottenere la liberazione della placchetta dal pedale.(Figura 1).
