Abstract

La presente invenzione si riferisce ad un assemblaggio radiografico simmetrico comprendente:- un elemento radiografico doppia faccia che comprende un supporto e strati di colloide idrofilo stasi su ciascuna faccia di detto supporto, e - uno schermo di rinforzo adiacente ciascuna faccia di detto elemento radiografico,in cui su ciascuna faccia di detto supporto sono stesi almeno due strati di emulsione agli alogenuri di argento che hanno una differenza di sensibilità di almeno 0,5 LogE e una differenza di contrasto medio di almeno 0,5, detti almeno due strati di emulsione agli alogenuri di argento essendo ciascuno sensibilizzato ad una regione differente dello spettro elettromagnetico,in cui detto schermo di rinforzo comprende uno o più fosfori emittenti luce differenti scelti in modo da avere una emissione di radiazione luminosa con un massimo di emissione di lunghezza d'onda corrispondente ad almeno uno di dette regioni differenti dello spettro elettromagnetico alle quali detti almeno due strati di emulsione agli alogenuri di argento sono sensibilizzati, e in cui detto elemento radiografico mostra un contrasto medio proporzionalmente variabile con il rapporto di emissione di detto/i fosforo/i emittente/i luce.
