Abstract

Combinazione di elementi fotosensibili da usare in radiografia formata da una coppia di schermi radiografici fluorescenti e da un elemento radiografico agli alogenuri d'argento a doppia faccia. Ogni schermo è posto adiacente ad ogni strato agli alogenuri d'argento e ogni schermo è in grado di emettere, a guisa di immagine, luce a cui è sensibile lo strato agli alogenuri d'argento adiacente quando esposto a guisa di immagine ai raggi X. Uno schermo fluorescente emette luce in una prima regione di lunghezza d'onda dello spettro elettromagnetico e l'altro schermo fluorescente emette luce in una seconda regione di lunghezze d'onda dello spettro elettromagnetico, ed ogni strato agli alogenuri d'argento è, sostanzialmente insensibile alla luce emessa dallo schermo opposto. La combinazione è caratterizzata dal fatto che i due strati di emulsione agli alogenuri d'argento hanno differenti caratteristiche sensitometriche (sensibilità o contrasto), in particolare i due strati di emulsione agli alogenuri d'argento hanno una differenza di contrasto, basata su misure di densità a 0,25 e 1,00 sulla densità minima, di almeno 0,5, e una differenza di sensibilità, misurata densità 0,5 sulla densità minima, di almeno 0,5 logE.
