Abstract

Viene descritto un metodo di polverizzazione a getto per preparare particelle di germi di cristallizzazione di silicio senza contaminazione da particelle di alimentazione di silicio. Il metodo comprende l'accelerare le particelle di alimentazione di silicio mediante energia a getto fluido e il farle urtare fra loro in una camera di polverizzazione in modo da frantumarle e dividerle in piccole particelle che vengono raccolte per l'uso come particelle di germi di cristallizzazione. Il metodo è caratterizzato dalla tecnica che prevede che le particelle di silicio che fluidizzano nella camera di polverizzazione sono formate in un letto fluido a fase diluita con bassa densità particellare. Viene così eliminato il generarsi di polveri fini e non é più necessaria la vagliatura aggiuntiva per separare le particelle più grandi.
