Abstract

La presente invenzione riguarda un nuovo processo per la preparazione del derivato dell'acido pirrolidin-carbossilico di formula (FORMULA I) caratterizzato dal fatto di far reagire un agente di introduzione del gruppo tiolo ottenuto dalla reazione di disolfuro di carbonio e idrossido di metallo alcalino in una soluzione acquosa con acido 1-[3-bromo(2S)-metil-propionil]-pirrolidin-(2S)-carbossilico di formula (FORMULA II) e di sottoporre poi il composto intermedio risultante a trattamento acido e a trattamento di riduzione a fornire l'acido 1-[3-mercapto(2S)-metil-propionil]-pirrolidin-(2S)-carbossilico (I).
