Abstract

Method and means of equalising the electric charge of the elements in series of a bank of storage batteries, in which, according to the invention, said bank of storage batteries B is electrically connected into an electric circuit 10, by which the following operations are carried out and including a converter stage 12, which converts the electric voltage of the bank into the electric voltage of each element, a selector stage 13 with electrical switches 13.1, each of them connected to a corresponding element of the bank B, and controlled by a logic stage 14, which checks in cycles the electric charge condition of each element, decides which element needs to be occasionally subjected to electric charging to equalise its electric charge, and determines the electrical closing of the switch 13.1 of the selector stage 13, corresponding to the element being subjected to electrical charging, for a predetermined time, after which the logic stage 14 repeats the aforesaid cycle. <IMAGE>
