Abstract
Il procedimento comporta le fasi di collocare in serie due forni rotativi ad una stazione di fusione (A) e una stazione di preriscaldamento della carica (D), di effettuare una fusione nel forno alla stazione di fusione (A), pur facendo passare i fumi del primo forno attraverso il forno alla stazione di preriscaldamento (D) verso un camino di evacuazione (26) per preriscaldare la carica nel forno di preriscaldamento, in seguito trasferire il forno che si trova alla stazione di fusione (A) verso una stazione di colata (B). Per permettere i differenti trasferimenti dei forni, ogni forno è associato ad una culla di trasferimento (18) comportante dei mezzi (19, 17) di trascinamento in rotazione del forno.(Fig. 1)
