Abstract

Una disposizione di "swatch" di colori da utilizzare per la selezione di stampa in offset a quattro colori ed un metodo per la creazione di detta disposizione che comprende la divisione dello spettro visibile in tonalità distinte e proporzioni delle densità dei puntini del giallo, rosso e blu necessarie per creare "swatch" di colori di ogni tonalità distinta. Viene creata una serie di "swatch" di tinte più chiare e ancore più chiare associata con ogni tonalità distinta, riducendo ognuna delle densità dei puntini del giallo, rosso e blu in fasi. Viene creata una serie di "swatch" di tonalità più scure con l'aggiunta di una proporzione di densità di puntini del nero ad ogni tonalità distinta e a tutte le tinte più chiare create a fasi da essa, ed una serie di "swatch" di tinte più scure e ancora più scure viene prodotta aggiungendo a fasi maggiori proporzioni di densità di puntini del nero a fasi, a tutte le tinte più chiare in fasi.(FIG. 1).
