Abstract
Per guidare un utensile lungo un percorso sotterraneo 6 in prossimità della superficie, come richiesto ad esempio nel caso di attraversamento di un fiume 7, l'utensile è provvisto di un rilevatore magnetico mentre circuito trasmettitore è posizionato quale punto di riferimento per l'utensile in superficie. In una prima fase di misurazione, viene fatta fluire una corrente continua in una direzione sino al circuito 10, 12 ed il campo magnetico risultante in prossimità dell'utensile viene rilevato tramite un rilevatore magnetico.In una seconda fase di misurazione, viene fatta passare, nel circuito 10, 12 una corrente continua in direzione opposta e viene rilevato per mezzo del rilevatore magnetico il campo magnetico risultante in prossimità dell'utensile.Tecniche di elaborazione vengono utilizzate per determinare informazioni di posizione che si avvalgono dei valori rilevati del campo magnetico ed è possibile guidare, come richiesto, l'utensile in base a tali informazioni di posizione. La tecnica permette di guidare un utensile lungo un percorso sotterraneo con notevole precisione e senza l'ausilio di un circuito di rilevamento ed elaborazione non standardizzato.
