Abstract

Viene descritto un procedimento per la preparazione di un clorometilato organico aromatico, in cui un composto organico aromatico, specie quelli con anello disattivato e quelli macromolecolari di natura aromatica, vengono posti a contatto con clorometil metil carbonato, quale agente di clorometilazione, operando in presenza di un catalizzatore acido di Lewis, ad una temperatura di almeno 30°C, e si recupera il corrispondente derivato clorometilato dai prodotti della reazione.
