Abstract

Dimetil carbonato e metil ter-butil etere vengono ottenuti tramite, un procedimento continuo ed integrato che comprende:(a) l'alimentazione di metanolo, ossido di carbonio ed ossigeno in un ambiente di reazione, mantenuto in condizioni di carbonilazione ossidativa del metanolo, per formare una miscela liquida di reazione contenente dimetil carbonato e metanolo inalterato;(b) l'eliminazione almeno parziale dell'acqua dalla miscela di reazione dallo stadio (a);(c) l'alimentazione della miscela disidratata dallo stadio (b) e di isobutene, o frazione idrocarburica contenente isobutene, in un ambiente di reazione, mantenuto in condizioni di etereficazione, per formare una miscela liquida di reazione contenente dimetil carbonato e metil ter-butil etere; e (d) il recupero del dimetil carbonato e del metil ter-butil etere dalla miscela di reazione dello stadio (c).
