Abstract

Nello stampaggio di materiale plastico accoppiato, in particolare di polistirolo espanso in combinazione con polistirolo rigido in foglio, il materiale rigido (2) viene preformato, separando contemporaneamente la porzione preformata dal materiale di partenza, e la sagoma preformata viene trasferita nel semistampo di preformatura (33) alla fase di stampaggio. Mentre viene effettuato lo stampaggio del materiale espanso per sinterizzazione ed azione impulsiva di vapore, viene scaricato il pezzo (P) precedentemente stampato. Il semistampo di preformatura (33) si muove alternativamente tra la posizione di preformatura e quella di stampaggio, cooperando con relativi controstampi (36, 41). Lo sfrido viene recuperato senza essere coinvolto dalla fase di stampaggio.
