Abstract

Una apparecchiatura a microonde per ipertermia clinica nella termoterapia endogena comprendente: un generatore (1) di energia elettromagnetica a radiofrequenza; un applicatore (3) con un'antenna (31) del tipo "rigded conicalhorn" per la somministrazione dell'energia elettromagnetica; un sensore (4) di temperatura cutanea, provvisto di un dispositivo (41) di isolamento e preamplificazione; una sacca (32) fissata a tenuta stagna all'apertura radiante dell'antenna (31), di materiale dielettrico flessibile, trasparente alle radiofrequenze fino a 500 MHz e contenente un fluido di termoregolazione a circolazione forzata e temperatura e pressione regolabili; una unità di controllo (6) con un microprocessore, un pannello (82) destinato all'operatore ed eventualmente un personal computer (9) per l'impostazione, la regolazione, l'elaborazione e la visualizzazione del dati di trattamento e per il pilotaggio degli organi periferici.
