Abstract

E' descritto un catetere per angioplastica del tipo cosiddetto a "profilo zero" comprendente un primo elemento tubolare (10) esteso internamente ad un secondo elemento tubolare (11) coassiale, con il quale definisce una intercapedine (12), in cui il secondo elemento tubolare (11) include, senza soluzione di continuità, un tratto (13) costituito da una prima materia plastica, sostanzialmente rigida e di prefissato modulo elastico, ed almeno un secondo tratto (14) costituito da una seconda plastica, elasticamente deformabile, di modulo elastico minore di quello della prima materia plastica ed aggraffabile chimicamente ad essa. L'intercapedine (12) è chiusa in corrispondenza di una estremità del secondo tratto (14) del secondo elemento tubolare (11), così da consentire la dilatazione di quest'ultimo mediante l'invio in essa di un appropriato fluido in pressione.(Figura 1)
