Abstract

In un procedimento continuo per la produzione di un filato poliestere di elevata resistenza con migliorato basso restringimento, il miglioramento consistente nel mantenere il filato in movimento su una coppia di cilindri stiratori riscaldati per un periodo di almeno 0,25 secondi, conservando la temperatura dell'aria nella zona attorno a detto filato in movimento per detto periodo ad un valore di almeno 220°C, avendo ciascuno di detti cilindri stiratori una temperatura superficiale di almeno 220°C e una parte sostanziale della superficie con un valore di ruvidità superficiale di almeno 50 micropollici, in modo che detto filato sia riscaldato in misura sufficiente ad ottenere un rilassamento sostanziale tra detti cilindri stiratori riscaldati e detto sistema di cilindri di rilassamento, onde garantire un migliorato basso restringimento. Un filato industriale di polietilene tereftalato con viscosità intrinseca almeno pari a 0,78, restringimento termico a secco DIN 177 inferiore al 2,0%, restringimento termico a secco DIN 200 inferiore al 4,5% e tenacità almeno uguale a 7,2 grammi per denaro é parte dell'invenzione.
