It has an inlet portion of variably-arrangeable components through which the gas flows without any additional air, i.e. without burning, comprising pipes (101,102) and an expansion chamber, followed by the entry-section of an igniter-equipped thermal reactor. Because of the temp. and discontinuous pressure-wave characteristic of the incoming gas used to create a hot-gas impulse field, the reactor embodies an extreme form of flow divider (321) producing even characteristics at the core.
