Abstract

The guide mechanism is for use between two relatively movable components. One or more oblong pins (21) are fixed at one end to the first component (13) and extend in the direction of the relative movement, working in a hole in the second component (10). A sleeve (23) of elastic material is fixed in the hole, fitting closely round the pin, its end (23) opposite the pin free end being closed and incorporating a vent hole (26) sufficiently small to prevent foreign bodies penetrating inside the sleeve.
