Abstract

The spectacle spring hinge has a fixedly connected hinge part (3) which serves to guide and retain the extensible hinge part (11). The fixedly connected hinge part is formed by a longitudinal bridge let into the spectacle arm end (1) in a dovetail groove (2). This bridge receives in its free longitudinal part (9) a spring which lies partly also in a cut-out of the arm. The bridge has a cover plate (10) under which a U-shaped arm with end hinge eyelets is guided against the spring tension.
