Abstract

The pinball machine has elements operated by the player to control the movement of a playing element w.r.t. response elements in order to switch on excitation devices. The machine has a multiplex circuit with a number of control wires and a number of signal connecting points connected by signal control elements which form an input-output control matrix. A scanner activates the control wires; a logic control circuit has a control store for control and connection of excitation devices and of the scanner. A store with free access which stores the mode of operation of the responding devices controls the operation of excitation devices in accordance with the movement of the playing element and of the control store. Interface circuit connects the excitation devices and the response devices with the logic control circuit.
