Abstract

1533554 Irrigation dripper units G ECKSTEIN 29 Oct 1975 44758/75 Heading AID [Also in Divisions B2 B3 and B5] Cylinders 2 spaced at intervals in piping 1 provide dripper units for reducing the pressure of irrigation water which flows in the piping interior and thence through inlets 4 of the cylinders, along continuous grooves 3 and through outlets 5. Each groove 3 preferably has a spiral or labyrinth path. An extrusion nozzle head is adapted to allow the cylinders 2 to be placed in the piping during the extrusion thereof.

1. An irrigation pipe for drip irrigation, characterized in that it includes at predetermined spaces dripper units of the kind defined, the pipe constituting the outer sleeve of said unit.

A method of producing an irrigation pipe for drip irrigation, as claimed in Claim 1 , characterized in that during the extrusion of the pipe by a machine having an angular extrusion nozzle head the cylindrical part of the dripper unit, as hereinbefore defined, is fed towards said head and is pushed into said head at predetermined intervals, so that the pipe is extruded around it and thereafter making at least one aperture in the pipe aligned with the said outlet from said groove of said cylindrical part* 3. A modification of the method of producing an irrigation pipe for drip irrigation, as claimed in claim 2, characterized in that during the extrusion of the pipe by a machine having a straight extrusion nozzle head the cylindrical part of the dripper unit, as hereinbefore defined, is fed towards said head and is pushed into said head at predetermined intervals, so that the pipe is extruded around it and thereafte making at least one aperture in the pipe aligned with the said ■' - . -' ΑρρΙη,Νο, 5211/3 The control of the 12 and drilling mechanism can e e ec e n any su a e manne , either by electrical, electronic, mechanical or the like control means, It is of course, understood that the pipe together with its dripper unit makes one integral whole and constitutes pressure reducing means which may be used where required for purposes other than irrigation* C LA I M S I 1.
