Abstract

The posts consists of four parts which telescope into one another being of successively reduced diameters. The outer tubular section (1) has a smooth exterior to which the sign board is clamped. The inside of the tube has teeth at intervals around the circumference of the tube. These teeth (5) engage shoulders (9) on the inner tube (2) which are also disposed around other tubes (3 and 4), with the exception that the inner tube does not have teeth on its inner face.
