1336850 Coating tubes KALLE AG 23 Dec 1970 [27 Dec 1969] 61101/70 Heading D1L [Also in Division B2] Apparatus for coating the inside and outside surface of a fibre tube 9 comprises an inner annular die 1i, 2i and an outer annular die 1a, 2a which extrude viscose on to the tube the outer layer of the tube being coated first and the gap between the faces of the dies forming a passageway, through which the tube passes during coating, having a width in the range 0.3 to 1.0 mm and a given point on the inner surface being coated .003 to 0.3 seconds after coating the corresponding point on the outer surface.
