Claims (7)

1. (c) cooling the resultant expanded extrudate to form an encapsulated nutrient product containing air spaces.
2. A method as described in claim 1 wherein the resultant expanded and cooled product containing air spaces is ground into particles having a smaller partlole size.
3. A method as described in claim 1 wherein said nutrient has a particle size of about 20 to 200 mesh.
4. ft, A method as described in claim 1 wherein said nutrient is a vitamin.
5. A method as described in claim ft wherein the vitamin is compound having vitamin A activity.
6. A method as described in claim 1 wherein the encapsulating agent is com flour.
