The body of the stand may be surmounted by a plate 8 having a central aperture 9 and shaped at the ends to receive respective plates 13 in the form of circular sectors which are detachably mountable on the plate so as to be disposed coplanarly with the outer strips 4. As described the body 3 is connected to the base 1 by a foot 2 including extensions of two of the zigzag strips 5. Claims (3)

1. A display stand of the kind having a base carrying uprights connected therebetween by eloping flat transverse elements forming compartments receiving containers filled with goods, characterized in that, in order to confer to the stand not only an attractive appearance but provide also a stand capable of supporting and displaying a great quantity of articles without impairing their accessibility, the stand includes a unitary body of plastics material having a base and an upright stand body comprising an eve number of equally spaced parallel equal intermediate strips the lateral edges of which have the form of zig-zag lines comprising a plurality of pairs of equal segments perpendicular to each other; the segments of both lines being symmetrically arranged with respect to the vertical longitudinal middle plane of the stand; a pair of zig-zag shaped outer strips parallel to said intermediate strips each arranged near one of the outer intermediate strips and spaced therefrom by an Interval equal to the spacing between said intermediate strips; the opposite outer edges of said outer strips each comprising segments lying in the planes passing through alternate segments pertaining to the edges of said intermediate strips upwardly diverging from said longitudinal middle plane and segments perpendicular thereto slightly downwardly offset from the segments pertaining to the said edges of the intermediate strips downwardly diverging from said longitudinal middle plane, said stand comprising urther transverse partitio perpendicular to the said strips projecting from the opposite faces of each of artition extends at one ed e of each intermediat stri \ at the same level at the other edge of said intermediate stri , and each partition hearing by its lower edge on a partition lying below it and having an opposite inclination with respect to the longitudinal middle plane of the stand; the said partitions and the said strips defining thereby at each side of said middle place pockets capable of receiving articles of parallellepiped form to be displayed.

2. A display stand as claimed in Claim 1, characterized in that the intermediate strips neighboring the transverse middle plane of the stand at opposite sides of said planes, are formed with lower extensions forming part of the base.

A display stand as claimed in Claim 1, characterized in that the uppermost downwardly diverging segments of the opposite edges of the intermediate strips intersect each other in the longitudinal middle plane of the stand; the uppermost transverse partitions ending at the said plane and bearing upon their upper edges a central vertical plate provided with a rectangular aperture and a pair of plates in the form of circular sectors each detachably connected to on of the opposite vertical external edges of th said central plate; the means connecting sad plates comprising a elongate projection on each sector lying In the symmetry plane of the latter and extending from the apex of th motor, sad projection having a transverse wall at its end spaced from said apex and a pair of longitudinal side walls defining together and with the circular sector a groove communicating with the outsid at its end opposite said transverse wall and at its side opposite said sector the width of said groove being at least equal to that of the edges of said centra plate, the said transverse wall having formed therein a notch adjacent said sector and said sidewalls having formed at its ends opposite said transverse wall notches adjacent said sector, the side edges of said central plate having out therein near their tops an elongate opening communicating with the outside through a passage narrower than the length of said opening, thereby defining a tooth capable of engaging into the notch in said transverse wall of the elongate projection of the sector; said edges having further formed thereon lateral projections capable to be engaged in the notches formed in said longitudinal walls of the said elongate projection of the sector.
