The sales stand shown in the drawings comprises, as a main part, a unitary plastic body mounted on a lower base 1, which is a substantially rectangular plate and has circumferential flanges extending downwards at its edges. Rising upwards from the center of the plate 1 is the leg 2 of the cast column body of the rack indicated by the general number 3.

The frame body 3 comprises a plurality of similar vertical strips 5, which are parallel and have a zigzag shape, and two narrower outer strips 4, which also have a corresponding zigzag shape and which are oriented together with respect to the middle strips 5. The outer strips 4 and the inner strips 5 are connected by transverse partitions 6, 7 arranged symmetrically obliquely and parallel to the different parts of the strips 4, 5 to form two groups of pockets closed at the base and with openings at the two opposite main surfaces of the rack. All pockets are oblique according to the alternating sections of the strips.

The above-mentioned pockets are designed to receive rectangular boxes, e.g. box A shown in Figure 4, containing sugar bakery products. These boxes and sales racks are preferably made in cooperation, so that the sizes are designed so that only a small force is required to put the box in the pocket, and so that the shape of the partitions 6, 7 is slightly narrowed. This means that the products on display must be carefully placed in the pockets.

The pockets on each surface all run in the same direction and are arranged in horizontal rows staggered relative to adjacent rows. The outer side strips 4 have recesses 4a and 4b, which make the products placed in the respective pockets more visible.

The leg 2, which connects the main body 3 of the sales stand to its base 1, forms part of an extension of the two intermediate strips 5.

On top of the main body 3 there is a transverse, vertical spacer 8 with a molded profile and a rectangular opening 9 by means of which the plate can be used as a handle for lifting and transporting the sales stand. The plate 8 is supported by two central strips 5 by means of triangular supports 10.

The outer side edges of the transverse plate 8 have two molded notches 11 at the top and at the bottom of these edges there are transverse protrusions 12, the lower surfaces of which are oblique planes. Thanks to said notches 11 and protrusions 12, two removable plates 13 can be arranged from the removable in the form of round sectors which can be mounted on a stand for aesthetic and advertising purposes. Each plate 13 has an elongate vertical projection 14 on one surface, in which a bridging part is formed at the top, which forms a seat 15 (see in particular Fig. 7) which can be connected to one notch 11 of the side edges of the plate 8. The elongate protrusion 11 also has two notches 16 at the end remote from the seat 15 which can engage the protrusions 12 of the center plate 8 to hold the sector plate 13 in a substantially vertical position on the plate 8.

Once the sales stand is set up and ready for use, the products A to be displayed protrude symmetrically from the two main surfaces of the main body of the sales stand and can be easily removed from the pockets in which they are placed.

It is obvious that the effects of the present invention extend to other embodiments which serve the same purpose and which use the same idea of the invention.
