Claims (9)
1. An antibacterial composition comprising as active ingredients a combination of 3-fluoro-D-alanine-type compound as herein defined and 3-fluoro-D-alanine autoantagonist-inhibitor as herein defined.
2. An antibacterial composition according to Claim 1 comprising as active Ingredients a combination of a 3-fluoro-D-alanine-type compound as herein de ined and a cycloserine-type compound as herein defined.
3. · A composition as defined in Claim 1 or 2 in which said combination is in admixture with a pharmaceutical carrier.
4. · A composition as defined in Claim 3 wherein the pharmaceutical carrier is adapted for oral administration.
5. · The composition as defined in Claim 3 wherein the pharmaceutical carrier Is adapted for injection administration.
6. A composition as defined in Claim 2 in which the 3-fluoro-D-alanlne-type compound is 3-fluoro-D-alanine or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof, and the cycloserine-type compound is D-cycloeerine.
7. A composition as defined in Claim 2 in which the 3-fluoro-D-alanine-type compound is 2-deutero-3-fluoro-D-alanine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and the cycloserine-type compound is D-cycloserine.
8. A composition as defined in Claim 1 in which the 3-fluoro-D-alanine-type compound is 3-fl oro-D-alanine or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof, and the cycloserine-type compound is terizidone.
9. An antibacterial composition according to any of the preceding; claims, substantially as described herein with reference to the Examples.
