1440832 Antibiotic compositions HOECHST AG 19 Oct 1973 [19 Oct 1972] 48836/73 Heading A5B A solid pharmaceutical composition in unit dosage form for oral administration comprises tetracycline or a derivative thereof and 5 to 30%, by weight based on the composition, of polyethylene glycol having a weight average molecular weight of from 2000 to 20000. The composition may be prepared by admixing the tetracycline and the glycol and forming the mixture into unit dosage form, e.g. by compression, optionally preceded by granulation.
