ΑΒ BOFORS C l a i m s VHA IS CLAIMED IS:
1. Device for a unit in a carrier part in the form of a projectile, shell, etc .^comprised in and separable from the carrier part which when being separated is given a rotation around its axis of symmetry (2) and which contains a -N £ Λ ¾· y ■WB oitjriwi- (4) provided with a parachute, a container (8) x c As* f ^ that can be blown off which encloses one end of the oompoo¾-» and its side surface or side surfaces and a member enclosing said parachute which in its longitudinal direction is divided into a number of parts (1), which are secured to ecuring members in which the that when the container is blown off, the action of the securing members ceases and the parts are thrown to the side in relation to the continued path of the by the centrifugal force, c h a r a c t e r i z e d in that the securing members include an attachment (6, 9 or 10) which is resistant to the, radial forces arising in the unit and which encloses the parts (1) of the usually tubular member enclosing the parachute, and in that the position and/or the possible fastening of the attachment in the parts will be actuated to achieve the release of the parts by the axial forces arising in the unit when the container (8) is blown away.
2. Device according to claim 1, c h a r a c t e r i z e d in that the attachment consists of a sleeve (6) which extends around the usually tubular member^one of the ends (1a) of the parts (1) of the tubular member. ; " * AB BOFO S
3. Device according to claim 2, c h a r a c t e r i z e d in that the sleeve (6) has a turned-in part (6a) extending at right angles to the axis of symmetry, which coacts with a corresponding recess in the flare, for instance in a disc-j formed part (3) fastened. to the flare, that the sleeve (6) is also fastened in the parts of the tubular member by means of securing pins (7) or corresponding means which are held i in place by the container (8) and which extend inwards from ' ' the sleeve (6) into the parts (1) with oblique surfaces (7a), which oblique surfaces (7a) have the result that the axial forces arising in the flare and in the tubular member can. press out the pins after the container has been blown away.
4. Device according to claim 1, c h a r a c t e r i z e d in that the attachment consists of a ring (10) which can be displaced in the axial direction of the unit between two end positions, and which in one of the end positions is held in place by the container (8) and encloses the ends (1a) of the parts (1) of the tubular member, and which in its other end position, to which it is arranged to be moved by said axial forces after the container has been blown away, ¾*- releases same ends (1a).
5. Device according to claim 1, c h a r a c t e r i z e d in that the attachment consists of an element (9) fastened to the flare which has a flange-formed edge (9a) extending in the longitudinal direction of the unit, inside of which the ends (1a) of the parts (1) of the tubular member are located, and in that the pins (7) or correspondings means FO S ^ held in place by the container extend inwards from the flange-formed edge (9a) into the parts (1 ) with oblique surfaces (7a) , which cause the pins or corresponding means to be pressed out by the axial forces arising in the unit when the container is blown away.
