1349956 Fungicidal compositions SIPCAM SOC ITALIANA PRODOTTI CHIMICI E PER L'AGRICOLTURA-MILANO-SpA 23 June 1971 [23 June 1970] 29502/71 Heading ASE A fungicidal composition comprises a mixture of at least one compound of the formula: in which R is an alkyl group with 1 to 4 carbon atoms with at least one compound (II) selected from: dodecyl guanidine acetate (Dodina) 1, 4-dithiaanthraquinone-2, 3-dicarbonitrile (Dithianon) trichloromethylthio - tetrahydrophthalimide (Captan) trichloromethylthio - phthalimide zinc ethylenebisdithiocarbamate (Zineb) manganese ethylenebisdithiocarbamate (Maneb) manganese and zinc ethylenebisdithiocarbamate (Mancozeb) zinc propylenebisdithiocarbamate (Propineb) zinc ethylenebisdithiocarbamate/thiuram complex (Metiram) tetramethylthiuram disulphide (TMTD) zinc dimethyldithiocarbamate (Ziram) iron dimethyldithiocarbamate (Ferbam) complex salt of zinc and dimethyl- and ethylenebisdithiocarbamic acids (Zireb).

Claims (1)
1. 4. A composition' accordin 5 to any of Claims ] to 3, additionally 5. A fungicidal composition according to any of claims 1 to 4, which comprises 1- (butylcarbamoyl)-2- benzimidazole -N- methylcar-bamate and the complex salt of zinc and dimethyl- and ethyleOebis -dithiocarbamic acids. 6. A fungicidal composition according to any of Claims 1 to 4, which comprises 1- (butylcarbamoyl) -2- benzimidazole -N- methylcar-bamate and dodecyl guanidine acetate. 7. A fungicidal composition according to any of Claims 1 to 4, which comprises ' 1- (butylcarbamoyl) -2- benzimidazole -N- methylcar-bamate and trichloromethylthiotetrahydrophtalimide. 8. A fungicidal composition substantially as described with specific reference to any of Examples I to V. 9. A process for producing a fungicidal composition according to any of the foregoing claims which comprises mechanically mixing the individual components I and II, optionally adding to these surface active, suspending, dispersing, stabilizing or activating agents and inert and/or fertilizing substances, mixing and then grinding the whole to a particle size less than 50 microns. 10. A method of combatting cryptogamic infections in plants by application thereto of a fungicidal composition in accordance with any of Claims 1 to 8. . / . 11. A method according to Claim 10 when applied to apple trees or pear trees against scab (Venturia inaequalis or Fusicladium dentri-ticum or, respectively, Fusicladium pyrinum or Venturia pyrina).
