Description

Package for the transport and sale of boxes or the like DYNAMIT NOBEL AKTIENGESELL3CHAFT Transport packages so designed that they can also b© used as sales packages are known. The articles can be removed directly from the package placed in the sales room without iiaving to be taken out and stacked previously.
The invention consists in a novel parallelepipedal transport and sale package for boxes or the like stackable articles, comprising a parallelepipedal packing container open at the top and having in one longitudinal panel a window extending down nearly to the bottom, and sleeve telescoping over the container. The container with its window, when displayed in the sales room, allows the articles to be seen readily and to be withdrawn at the top while the sleeve, when slid over the container, provides a stability favourable for the transport* Even with relatively low wall thicknesses of the container and sleeve a rather stable structure is obtained.
Two embodiments of the invention are illustrated in the accompanying drawing in which: Pig. 1 is a perspective view of a package according to a first embodiment of the invention; Fig. 2 is a perspective view of the sleeve of a package according to a second embodiment.
Pig. 1 shows the package with its sleeve partially slid upwards. The container 1 of the package has the shape of an open rectangular parallelepiped open at the top, whose longitudinal front panel 2 has a window 3 which ends at an edge 4 closely above the bottom 5· A sleeve 6 can be slid on the container 1 as a cover. When fully slid on the container it reaches down about to the lower edge of the container 1. In this position the paokage is transportable. In the sales room the sleeve 6 is slid off so that the articles can be seen in the window 3 and be removed through the top of the container 1 · The sleeve 6 according to Fig. 2 has a window 7, preferably covered by a transparent foil, which makes the contents of the package visible even when the package ie closed.
