Abstract

Compounds of the formula <IMAGE> and their tautomers suppress the antigen-antibody response. They are prepared by reacting 3,5-diacetyl-4,6-dihydroxy-2H-pyran-2-one with an amine of the general formula II R-NH2 (II> in which R has the meaning given in Patent Claim 1, and, if appropriate, converting the product with an alkali metal alcoholate into its mono- or dialkali metal salts.
