Abstract
Novel sulphur-containing compounds which have coronary-dilating properties, of the formula <IMAGE> in which R represents a radical of the formula <IMAGE> or <IMAGE> R1, R2 and R3 represent hydrogen, halogen, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, aryl-lower-alkoxy, aryloxy, phenyl, nitro, amino, lower alkylthio, trifluoromethyl, hydroxyl, cyano, di-lower alkylamino, lower alkanoylamino, carboxyl, lower alkoxycarbonyl, lower alkylsulphonyl, hydroxymethyl, lower alkanoyloxy, amido, lower alkanoyl, sulphamoyl, mono- or di-lower-alkyl-sulphamoyl, aminocarbonyloxy, mono- or di-lower-alkyl-aminocarbonyloxy, lower-alkyl-amino-lower-alkyl, or two adjacent radicals together represent methylenedioxy, ethylenedioxy or butadien-1,3-yl-1,4-ene, R4 represents hydrogen or lower alkyl, R5, R6 and R7 represent hydrogen, halogen, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, hydroxyl or benzyloxy, or two adjacent radicals together represent methylenedioxy or ethylenedioxy, X represents a sulphur atom, SO or SO2, Y represents a straight-chain or branched, optionally hydroxyl-substituted aliphatic radical having 2-8 carbon atoms of which 2-4 carbon atoms are located in the chain, and Z represents a straight-chain or branched, optionally hydroxyl-substituted aliphatic radical having 1-8 carbon atoms of which 1-4 carbon atoms are located in the chain, m denotes the numbers 0 or 1 and n denotes the numbers 2 or 3, and acid addition salts thereof are described. These compounds are prepared by a suitable 2-substitution of compounds of the formula <IMAGE>
