1447047 Walls RHYS-DAVIES SERVICES 21 Nov 1973 [1 Dec 1972] 55521/72 Heading E1W A fire wall comprises two spaced apart structural frames 1, 2 of, e.g. metal, which are clad on their outer faces and have a dividing wall 3 therebetween, which is attached to the frame by deformable or breakable members, e.g. plastics clips 5. The dividing wall 3 may consist of a number of laminated plasterboard panels with channel separators 4. The cladding may comprise an inner layer 10 or 11 of fire resistant, sound deadening unreinforced mineral wool quilt, and an outer layer 8 or 9 of laminated plasterboard. [GB1447047A]
