Abstract

A method and apparatus for transporting and launching an offshore tower. The apparatus comprises a watertight buoyancy system for supporting an offshore tower in a generally horizontal transporting posture substantially above the surface of a body of water and subsequently for controllably righting the offshore tower onto the bed of the body of water at a preselected marine site.
