1346382 Oscillating tools H VISSERS NV 3 Feb 1972 [11 Feb 19711 5083/72 Headings A1B and AID An agricutural tool, e.g. a spreader nozzle 13, is oscillated about a vertical axis 10 by means of a fork 15 which has its shank rotatably journalled in a bearing set eccentrically in a fly wheel 16, and its prongs pivoted horizontaly about pins 14 projecting from the sides of the bowl 11 to which the nozzle is attached. As the flywheel 16 is rotated by the tractor the nozzle is oscillated from side to side. The end 23 of the shank of the fork is supported in a bearing 28 in a recess 36 in the flywheel and can be freed in order to replace the fork by releasing the shank of the fork from the bearing, removing the bearing from the flywheel, removing the cover 38 from over the the pins 14. The prongs of the fork are then recess 36, and swinging the fork clear about removed from pins 14. A harrow 100 has its frame oscillated by a similar arrangement of a flywheel 117 and a fork 122. The prongs of the fork 122 are pivoted about two arms 124 of a crank 125, which itself has two arms 126 at the ends of which are vertical journals 128 that carry the beams 111 which are oscillated by the crank 125. These beams carry the tines 112. The crank 125 oscillates about a vertical axis in the transverse beam 101, at each end of which, pivotally connected to the beam, is a lever which is pivoted at each of its ends to one of the beams 111.
