Abstract

1,226,367. Unitary golf ball. ABBOTT LABORATORIES. 9 Aug., 1968 [10 Aug., 1967], No. 38258/68. Heading C3C. A solid unitary golf ball is made by vulcanizing a composition comprising in parts by weight: 100 parts of polybutadiene rubber having a cis content greater than 30%, 20-70 parts of trimethylolpropane trimethacrylate, 0À6-10 parts of peroxide curing agent, 20-60 parts of reinforcing pigment and 2-15 parts of white pigment. The reinforcing pigment may be a silica, silicate or clay and the white pigment may be titanium dioxide. The composition may also contain styrene-butadiene resin and a novolac resin. [GB1226367A]
