The subject of the invention is preferably a liquid concentrated herbicide emulsion preparation, which contains: (i) a water-soluble herbicide dissolved in water, where the water-soluble herbicide is present in such a concentration that the preparation exerts a biological effect when diluted with an appropriate amount of water and applied to sensitive plant foliage; (ii) an oil-soluble herbicide that is present in such a concentration that the formulation exerts a biological effect when diluted with an appropriate amount of water and applied to sensitive plant foliage; (iii) one or more water-soluble chlorides selected from the group consisting of hydrochloric acid, alkali metal chlorides, ammonium chloride, low molecular weight organic ammonium chlorides, and quaternary ammonium chloride surfactants in an amount that substantially prevents degradation of the oil-soluble herbicide; and (iv) one or more surfactants in a concentration that ensures the appropriate stability of the emulsion and ensures that the emulsion forms a suitable dispersion after dilution with the amount of water required for its application to plants.
