Abstract
An immediately potable beer distillate is prepared from a ground malt composition, containing: 60-70% Munich-malt 20% 10-20% caramel-malt and to 100% Pilsen-malt. Beer is prepared using the foregoing malt compsition following grinding and mashing. Hops are added to the resulting sweet beer. This beer is brewed, cooled, fermented and barelled. The beer made is distilled using a small/domestic scale still.
